Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes (May 27, 1971 – April 25, 2002)

So... I've kinda been m.i.a because school started and the fees for books are crazy expensive.

Now with that said I took a nap after school and woke up to GRAMMY AWARD WINNING ... Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes (the "L" in TLC) playing on V.H.1.

When I was younger we could never afford to have cable, so I wasn't able to experience different documentaries.

One of my favorite quotes from her was "after every dark night there is a bright day". Many people fail to realize that and get stuck dwelling on their pass (TLC's song "Waterfalls"), and never move forward. Her documentary shows us another side of her ... and the real story about her past mistakes and others. If you need a reality check ... find this documentary and take a lesson out of it. Her journey of cleansing and spiritual growth was remarkable.
